We called Carter cold. We had seen his signs on a few properties, our timeline had just been compressed to about 36 hours, and every other agent we reached only wanted to show us their own listings. I was a first time buyer and pretty naive (to say the least) about the process. After several disappointing experiences with real estate agents in a couple of other states, I found a listing that she was showing in MD. I loved the property but was dreading starting things. I just wanted to get to the finish line as quickly as possible. Against the advice of Google AI, I decided “dual agent” and couldn’t be happier.
