My wife and I had a farm with 30 acres. When we sold the farm we split the property and kept 15 acres as a building site. Once the sale of the residence went through our agent told us that he was not interested in listing the lot. We proceeded to contact a local realtor and signed a six month agreement with them. During the six months we were listed we received no information from the realtor other than no one had seen the lot. At the end of the six months the realtor took down the posting, removed all their signs and never bothered to communicate this to us.

We had been debating on how to proceed with the sale - and by chance received a postcard from Mark Zimmerman at Whitetail Properties. I liked the fact that Whitetail specialized in land (we had a 15 acre lot) and I felt that he might understand how to market our lot.

Upon meeting Mark it was clear that he had a lot of knowledge about selling properties. He did an excellent job in describing the lot and the pictures that he took spoke to the buyers. We had two full price offers within days of the listing going up. Unfortunately, the deal we chose fell through, and Mark offered sound advice - and we relisted the property and received another full price offer within a few days..

We felt that Mark was an excellent sounding board and correctly presented the pros and cons of each proposal.

It is pretty seldom that I take the time to actually write a testimonial. I was initially going to significantly reduce my asking price but working with Mark - a property realtor that understood how to market the lot -meant I didn't have to settle for less.

I would recommend Mark and Whitetail Properties, especially if you are looking to sell property.
