Chad recommended Jeff Phillips, of Roanoke, who lived closer to our land. Jeff did a terrific job. The day after we agreed to have him represent us, he drove up to our land, took pictures and made an excellent suggestion that we bush hog the property to make it more presentable, which we did. We listed in early August and had a contract by mid September. Jeff did an excellent job in listing the property, walking us through the negotiation process, giving solid advice, respected our decisions, and allowed for some limitations we had for religious observance. Jeff was competent and trustworthy and I’d highly recommend him.

My agent was Cody Kanuscak. From the first phone call, Cody was very professional and personable. He was also very responsive. If he did not answer your phone call or text, he got back to you a short time later, you never had to wait. Initially, I was very apprehensive about dealing with a realtor long distance. I did, however; decide to contact Whitetail Properties to inquire about listing and left Cody a message. As it turned out, he was out of state on a business trip and called me a short time later during a break.

Being a long distance from my property, it was not easy to get to. Cody was very flexible and accommodating. He met me at my property at my first opportunity.

Cody was very informative, knowledgeable about the Upper Peninsula market, and very accommodating – easy to work with. He took the time to not only look at the cabin, but to walk the property with me. After my partner and I agreed to list with Whitetail Properties, Cody walked the property a second time on his own. Once it was listed, it was sold within a week at our asking price. Cody was very aggressive to make sure the property was in front of the buyers. I was amazed the property sold that fast. I honestly thought it would take a year or longer to sell. From my first contact with Cody in person to closing took less than five weeks.

I have other hunting property and my biggest compliment to Cody and Whitetail Properties is that when it is time to sell, I will be calling Whitetail Properties again!
